Marvelyn Stout founded Stout Executive Search in 2006 after gaining 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Prior to starting the firm, Marvelyn was a brand manager with the Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 10 years, and Walmart team leader for the largest manufacturer of dry pet food (Ol’Roy), in the United States.

Stout is a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education.  Later, she used the skills gained from teaching in the world of sales, marketing, and recruiting.

Committed to community involvement, Marvelyn serves on the Board of Directors for the Bentonville Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce.  She Co-Chairs the Membership Task Force as well as sits on the Personnel, Champions and Partners in Education committees.

Marvelyn also serves on the Retail Management Advisory Board for Northwest Arkansas Community College and is actively involved in the Retail Marketing Analyst Program.  She is a participating member of the Governor’s Economic Development Advisory Council for Northwest Arkansas.

Marvelyn brings a fresh approach to the Northwest Arkansas recruiting market and a unique perspective from someone who has lived the Walmart supplier culture.
