Not working? Be an entrepreneur.
Yesterday, Nov. 18, 2009, I had the great good fortune to sit in on an entrepreneureal conference presented for college students who will soon be looking for jobs that might not be open.
The women entrepreneurs said, "Why not start your own business. You need courage and cash. Most of all, you need to take stock of every activity you have ever participated in, and consider what you learned from the experience."
Carol Spieckerman, one of the entrepreneurs speaking at the conference, says each of us already works for ourselves in a company called ME, incorporated. What did I get out of every experience I have ever had?
