GOP Cite U.S.Post Office As Government Failure
The U.S. Post Office has lost billions of dollars this year. Many have pointed to the U.S. Post Office as an example of a failed government program.
http://money.cnn.com/2009/11/16/news/companies/US_postal_service/index.htm
The GOP says this is why we don't want Government run Health Care. The Post Office has everything in it's favor to be successful, except the management.
The business model is sound but they fail to add new services and market themselves very well. We don't throw out the "baby with the bath water".
Make the necessary changes and the Post Office will be profitable again. Fed Ex and UPS have been. You can't have an unimaginative bureaucrat running a Billion Dollar Company.
