Schools in trouble |
Reason for California Tuition Hikes
We all had the opportunity to prevent the massive economic destruction that we see in California happening today. I made an ireport the day after the special election on the propositions that our Gov. warned us we must pass to prevent this. Everyone was thinking about themselves and not their future or the future of our state. Please read the report below. More problems will be occurring. Hopefully we Californians will reconsider our stance of "what about me" the next time we have a chance to save our state.

Well, the votes, or lack of, are tallied. Very few Californians even bothered to vote. I believe you will all regret this. The Gov. warned us what would happen if it failed. He has no choice now.
All six measures were defeated except for the last measure which denies raises to the state government officials when the state is in a deficit. Looks like they won't be getting any raises for a very long time. Funny how this is the only one everyone cared about.
Our new deficit is inflated to 21.3 billion dollars due to the measures failing. We will now be cutting jobs in the police and firefighter fields.
Health care, school funding, releasing inmates, mental health care, state provided benefits and most of all alot of jobs are going to suffer, these are the consquences of what this election is going to do to us.
It's over and there is nothing we can do now. God help the State of California. Shame on you that didn't take the few min. out of your day to vote!
Durning the next big emergency, will there be enough police or firefighers to help you. I sure hope so, but I really doubt it.
Good going Californians, it's not all about your pocketbook. But that's all anyone seems to care about.
Sorry this sounds so harsh, but I am upset.
Oh, and our taxes are going to go up now, way way up. But that's ok, it's what we voted for, or not, right?
