Sarah Palin & Lebron James: a match made in media heaven
Full disclosure: I voted for Obama and I'm a Celtics fan. Post asserts that we need to stop annointing people President, presidential candidate, or even NBA champion until they actually accomplish the goal. Last year they were hailing Lebron as "The Chosen One" and he didn't even make the Eastern Conference Finals. He is on TV this season more than Kobe and Kobe won the title! Governor Palin hasn't even been a presidential candidate yet and the media might as well be telling all potential Republican candidates to not even waste their time. Whatever happened to winning first before the hype. Some said the media loved Obama. 2 words for that Reverend Wright. He disproves that entirely. My simple belief is that we need to let people's hard work take them to the top. Let them earn their way. Let's stop annointing those who we just want to see on TV because of looks, flash, money, etc. Having said all that, go Celtics!
