My beautiful Daughter & how schools fail to protect

Attached to this story you will find a photo of my little girl. I am writing to tell you that my daughter just turned 6, has Erb's Palsy and is attending Ventura Elementary in Kissimme and I am very upset with the school. I drop my child off every morning at 7am and I think that she is safe. She is a car rider because we live within 2 miles of the school so I have to go get her. I wouldnt have it any other way because of the weired people in this world.  I dropped her off this morning and when 3:00 came I left to go get my daughter from school. I was in Orlando so it was going to take me about 20 minutes to get there. My 15 year old son was at home and he called me on my cell as I was going to get my daughter and he informs me that my daugher had just walked in the front door at 3:15 and announced that she just walked from school. I live 1.3 miles from the school on a very, very busy street and she has never crossed the street alone. Let alone walk all that way and the school released her to walk home even tho she is a car rider. I was frantic. The way things are in Florida with children getting snatched and killed I was a wreck. I called the school and the asst. Principal told me that it would never happen again and we would have to wait until after the school break to resolve this since there was no one at the school after 3:30. I told him I wanted answers now and he told me there was nothing he could do. I also called the board of education also and they said I had to wait for the school to help me. What would they have said to me if my daughter was killed by some psycho watching her walk home from school? It will never happen again?!!!!!  I just want parents to be aware of what these schools are doing. They dont care about our children when they release them to walk home by them selves. If they can make this mistake, maybe they can make the mistake of releasing my daughter to a stranger who might cause them harm. Please post this for Florida residents to see in the Osceola county area. They need to be informed to protect their children.
