Pledge of Allegiance
I pledge allegiance to the Earth,
The most beautiful world I will ever know.
And to the Universe surrounding it,
From which energies flow.
One planet under the sky
That we Earthlings occupy,
Smashing it, choking it brutally,
But why????????
Earth needs not be controlled,
Just enjoyed and shared.
But that could all change,
If we really cared.
