Evacuate passengers from a plane in Santo Domingo in the explosion of two tires
I 142 passengers of an aircraft company Delta Airlines, which was heading to New York, were evacuated on the runway of the Las Americas International Airport, east of Santo Domingo, after paragraph two tires exploded while preparing to takeoff.
According to local media, two tires of the airplane, a B-l37-200, also suffered damage, so the flight was canceled and postponed for tomorrow.
After evacuating the passengers and remove the luggage, Delta Airlines Technical and Dominican Airports (Aerodom), the entity that manages six of the Dominican air terminals began to replace the tires.
