    Students, Not Criminals!

    During the November 19 UC fee hike protests at UCLA, peacefully protesting students  behind Covel Commons got upset that the police were aiming guns at them, shouting, "Students, not criminals!"  Additionally, the students repeatedly demanded, "Put the guns away!"  The short tooting and blowing sounds heard in the background of this video are from a conch, which several students brought, symbolically appropriate as it is the symbol of power and voice in William Golding's novel Lord of the Flies.
