New Moon Mania!
I brought my copy of New Moon with me to see the movie so I would fit in with the hardcore fans...everyone does that, right?
I didn't tell the fans my big secret, though--I ran out of time and failed to read the last 10 pages of the book (okay 20, but sshhh!). Not to worry, though, the movie pretty much summed it up so I think I can begin reading Eclipse now. Phew.
I sat close to the front of the theater so I could be closer to Edward; the girls in the back yelling his name before the show even started were definitely jealous of my prime seat. I could tell, it was obvious.
An interesting thing happened mid-movie that I was not prepared for: my focus shifted from Edward to Jacob--he has been working out and it got a little steamy. I was seriously glad to have my prime seat when the shift occurred.
Did I like the movie? Yes. Was is cheesy? YES. Would I spend $15 on the movie and $6 on parking (plus $1 for my friend who was short on cash) all over just to experience New Moon Mania? Definitely.
Highlights of the movie: Jacob's 6 pack (I counted), Edward's lip color (maybe I can find it at Nordstroms?), and, of course, the love story that keeps us all coming back for more.
Enjoy!
