Same-Sex View
The ruling only effects my partner and I in the fact that it opens the doors just a bit more for us to have the right to legally be binded and share those same benefits as those who are opposite-sex married.
We currently live in a non-recognized state (MN). Even though we havent legally been married or unionized we still consider ourselves married for 7 years now.
With this ruling, its even given the option of moving to CA until its legal here.
