This iReport is part of an assignment:
Obama's Afghanistan decision |
OBAMA AND AFGHANISTAN - The Agony and the Exit Strategy
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
President Obama has been leapfrogging over his own timelines for a decision on troop levels and and exit strategy for months. Surely it began when he entered office.
To his credit he has developed the criteria he needs to see exhibited in any plan that is viable. He has asked for a lot of opinions and when you do that, you will get a lot of opinions back.
What my real point is here this morning: NOT to make a decision IS a decision and of course we may never know all of the reasons for his delay in making one.
I hope December 1 will finally put an end to the "Agony and the" exit strategy.
