Being religious for wrong reasons
Being religious does not automatically mean that you're a good person. It's your decision and your way of thinking that makes a difference in how you view the world and life.
My job is not to promote atheism, but to challenge religion and its ways of seeing things. In my opinion, religion does not hold sufficient evidence when it comes to the idea of proving that there is a god or there are gods.
I don't agree with some Atheists who say that parents must not teach their children their religion because it's not my job to raise someone else's child. Nor do I have the right to tell a parent to not bring their children to churches, mosques, synagogues etc. But there comes a time when a child has the right to question his/her faith and make a decision to either follow it or not.
You mustn't just be religious because that's what your parents have taught you.
Being a Theist, a Diest, an Agnostic or an Atheist is a primarily a personal decision.
You have the right to question your belief and you have also the right to challenge it.
There is no such thing as "fate"
Before you decide to be a Theist, examine the religion, which you want to embrace. Does it hold sufficient evidence?
Don't just be religious because you want to avoid loneliness and seek for acceptance.
Don't be religious so that you can promote evil ideologies like killing innocent people in the name of your god.
Respect the fact that religion is a personal thing and don't enforce it upon others.
Life is worth living
Wasting it is a crime.
