Thanksgiving with a twist |
Ducky Thanksgiving!
The Thanksgiving Lulu Duckies have returned to the West Seattle Ducky Reserve (7031 Beach Drive SW, Seattle, WA) and are kicking up a storm of Thanksgiving laughter and love!
You might note that the West Seattle Duckies stand in solidarity with all those who participated in that first Thanksgiving event -- Native Americans, Pilgrims, and Turkeys! In fact, one of the Lulu Ducks is known as Indiepilgroturk Duck because he has chosen to wear a costume that includes clothing from all those cultures. Ducky Stan (who we also call Ducky Turkistan for fun) decided to wear a complete turkey outfit for his "2009 Turkey Ducky in the Straw" Tour.
Have a Very Ducky Thanksgiving!
("Thanksgiving -- Love to Eat Turkey" is sung by Adam Sandler -- the duckiest Thanksgiving song of all time! However, a warning for parents -- I used "G" rated excerpts from the song -- there are some "R" rated lyrics in it, not "X" but "R.")
(Ducky Stan's song, "Turkey in the Straw," is sung by the Stan himself and is part of the mechanism of Ducky Stan as he dances.)
