1000+ UC Irvine students march on campus to protest fee hikes. Police activity increases.

A peaceful protest around the ring road of UC Irvine against the fee hikes of 32% by the UC Regents last Thursday turns sour when the UCIPD detain a graduate student within the Administration building that is now barricaded from within.
Tension is increasing across every UC campus due to the 800 million dollar cut from the California state budget.
