Jeddah: Heavy downpour in many parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including Makkah, Mina and Jeddah has caused traffic jams in the respective areas. Water is flooded on the roads and it is difficult for the cars to clear up. However, Jeddah is witnessing excessive rainfall after quite a long time and the rain in Jeddah is reported to be heavier than other places.

The Hajj season for the year 1430 Hijri has already begun and the pilgrims from the Bhatkal community have arrived Mina to accomplish the obligations of Hajj for this year. Due to the rain, the Bhatkaly traders in Makkah have incurred heavy losses.
