This iReport is part of an assignment:
Same-sex marriage: Civil right vs. states' rights |
Marriage is a special bond
Leviticus 18:22, which reads: "You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing. I am a firm believer that marriage should only be between a man and a woman. I believe that God detest homosexuality BUT I do not hate anyone for the way that they live their life. God tells us as Christians we are not to judge and that we should be the salt and light of the earth. How can we expect people to come to Jesus if they can't see him through us. I pray daily that the law in California will be reversed and I pray daily that people will repent of their sin and come to Christ and know the eternal joy that is felt in the hearts of those who have found him. I am not here to judge anyone just to simply say that I believe that marriage is meant to be between and man and woman the way that God intended.
