Michaele and Tareq Salahi: How far are people willing to go for FAME?

Recently, I have become a little upset at how certain individuals are doing anything to become famous.  I know that some of you are well aware of the situation that occured at the White House, before and during the President's dinner. According to media reports, Michaele and Tareq Salahi took it upon themselves to "crash" the party and post pictures on Facebook. Wow! How smart? After I read several articles via the internet, it was stated that these two individuals were being filmed  or considered for the up and coming reality TV show, "Real Housewives of DC".

Why would they (The Salahi's)  or anyone else try so hard to become famous? In my opinion, in todays society, you do not become famous by doing good or doing right by others. I have noticed that you can easily become famous by making sex tapes, acting a complete fool on Reality TV shows , or crashing a party at the White House....and for what?  I am not trying to sound judgemental or condescending, but it gets a little tiring when you constantly see people in society, gaining notoriety all of the time.

I would like it very much if people would take interest and time becoming famous by impacting the world in a good way, instead of  having a desire to be famous for doing something idiotic.

*let me know how you feel about this topic?
