Smile for Change
I've learned alot from working in retail the last three years, some bad, some good, some really good. I've learned how to turn a grumpy customer into a not so grumpy customer by just smiling at them as they walk up to the counter. I can tell when someone has had a very bad day and smiling at them can make a change in their mood in the simplist way.
Next time you are walking down the street, or at a stop light, try to catch the eye of the person coming your way, when your eyes meet, just smile. They will smile back. It really feels good!
