    Confluence of 3 rivers

    This photo was taken in a town called Passau, Germany, during a River Cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg. 

     

    Passau is located in the Lower Bavaria region of Germany, at the point where the Danube is joined by the Inn from the south and the Ilz coming out of the Bavarian Forest to the North.

     

    This photograph strikingly shows the merger of the 3 rivers, clearly visible in their distinctive colors.

     

    Passau is a quaint, little town with exquisite beauty, full of friendly people.
