This iReport is part of an assignment:
Obama's Afghanistan decision |
Defining Freedom
I know the President is tormented by his decision to send troops to Afghanistan. So am I.
Al Queda cannot ever be defeated. With cells all over the world we have no other reason to be there other than to fight Pakistan's war. Our only right course of defense is homeland security and intelligence.
When enough men and women come home without their lives will this President make that call? Will he finally be able to say what he already knows? We cannot win the fight against terrorism, Israel can't, "Palestine" cant...no country can.Ever. It will only breed more animosity towards the United States. Not to mention we simply dont have the money.
Why have we not learned our lesson from Iraq?
Once again, we enter into an undeniably un-winnable "war".
