    Stll unemployed

I've been unemployed since June of 2008. I get up every morning and get on my computer to look for work. That's about the only way you can look for work now days. I talk to friends to see if they have heard anything, have any leads anything that can help me.

I went to a job fair and every table I approached told me to "Go on line" then they handed me a piece of paper with their web address. I was never handed an application, or was able to talk to anyone, just told to "Go on line."

I was recently turned down for an interview because I wasn't bi-lingual.

If you go through a recruiter they won't even send your resume out if you've applied to the company before, even if it's been over a year, That's the first thing they ask you "Have you ever applied to this company before." Say No even if you have.

I'm 58 years old and don't have time to go back to college for 4 years.

There is no sense of urgency in any of the companies I dealt with, they have all the time in the world. Well I don't.

I'm on my 3rd unemployment extension and don't know if I qualify for the 4th. I have 10 weeks of unemployment left. I've heard someone say, "With all these extensions, being on unemployment is one big vacation." If it's a vacation ti's the vacation from hellAll I want to do is get back to work.
