Cross-Country Skiers in North Boulder Park
Hey everyone…
So, what happens in YOUR neighborhood park when it snows? Here in my town the playgrounds go empty and the snow-covered green spaces belong to the the cross-country ski crowd.
People come from all over town to park, grab their gear, and hit the slight slopes of the expansive North Boulder Park. In a very health-oriented town, it is no surprise to find Boulderites making the weather conform to THEIR workout regimens and NOT the other way around.
Thought this would be cool to share with you guys. It always gives me a chuckle to see people skiing in the same place that people normally throw frisbees, play with their dogs, and sunbathe. Talk about hallmarks of the seasons, right?
Hope you are keeping warm if it's cold where you are and cool if it's warm. And if it's temperate? Well, just enjoy it for the rest of us!!!
Cheers,
