Senator Corker: Karma Beats Rock, Paper, Scissors
Today's news about Senator Corker's daughter's carjacking and the subsequent location of the family's missing Chevy Tahoe via GM's OnStar is remarkable on many levels.
This is a photograph of Senator Corker from January, when he made a surprise (grandstand) visit to the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, MI.
Needless to say, Corker is not the most popular Washington politician among certain automotive circles. The press scrum that surrounded him as he strode through the auto show that day was more than a bit mob-like.
The Senator is at the GM booth in the photo.
