Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park Thrives in Tough Economic Times
How do you survive in a tough economic climate? Ray Petro of Cleveland, Ohio has it figured out. Despite a uncertain economy, his business continues to grow by offering something that no one else can offer. Indoor Mountain Biking.
In the summer of 2004, tired of his outdoor passion being cut short by brutal northern Ohio winters, Petro decided to take matters into his own hands, and do the seemingly impossible.
With an army of volunteers he lead the transformation of 67,000 square feet of empty warehouse space on Cleveland's west side into the world's ONLY indoor Mountain Bike facility.
Now, the park is in it's 6th year. Having just finished it's 5th expansion, it now boasts more than 125,000 square feet of jumps, ramps, and trails. Ray's indoor mountain bike park thrives by offering something that no one else in the world can offer...an authentic and enjoyable mountain bike experience, all winter long, regardless of the weather.
