This iReport is part of an assignment:
Midwest flooding |
An Attitude of Gratitude - Norma Davis - LaGrange, MO
I had the privilege to speak to Norma Davis, a LaGrange, MO resident whose homestead property is facing rising waters.
Norma remains in positive spirits and stated that she lives life with "An Attitude of Gratitude." Her sump pump is working full force she commented.
Norma gave us a tour of her property. It was a humbling experience. Instead of moping in self pity, Norma shared some very wonderful stories about memories made in this house from several generations.
Thousands of acres of farmland and crops are ruined with this flood.
Please volunteer today and tomorrow to help. Whether it is 15 minutes or several hours, your help makes a difference!
