    Skiing in the Park

    (Pt. 2)

     

    Hey there one and all -- I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Here in Boulder we're being covered up in snow and, just like last week, that has brought out the cross-country skiers in full force.

     

    This afternoon, North Boulder Park (which is about 8-10 blocks from downtown and situated in the Newlands neighborhood) transformed into the local ski slopes for many Boulderites.  I lost count after 50…families, friends, hard core fitness buffs, men, women, and children alike all donned their cross-country skis and gear, grabbed their poles, and hit the trails around the park's exterior.  Certainly something you don't see everyday in your local neighborhood park.

     

    So, I took a shot at some live, first-person reporting -- just ad hoc…nothing too special.  Who knows…maybe this is a good next step for my iReporting.  Let's see what you think.

     

    I really hope you enjoy the footage.  It certainly was fun getting it.
