These are two pictures on Nicole Brown in her various extracurricular activities. Not only is she in more than 13 extracurricular activities while maintaing a 3.756 with 5 AP classes and a 24 act score, she also has to take care of her house and her very ill mother. Her mother is unable to walk, and is diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, and renal failure. When Nicole was smaller her mother and father took care of her. Now her father has left the house because of his severe crack addiction and her mother has had two failed knee replacements and relies on diasbility. Nicole manages to apply for over 50 scholarships and be accepted for over ten schools while taking care of the house and her mother. She deserves this award not only because she is an overachiever, but because her number one goal in life is to help people and she has so many financial difficulties. Due to these difficulties attending the University of Alabama is a burden.
