Up to speed with Robin Meade

My Most Memorable NASCAR Moment !

UP TO SPEED with ROBIN MEADE

    June

    18, 2008 <!endif>

    Dear Robin,

Hi, my name is Jim Neiman and I wake up every morning with you to get all my daily information, I love watching you on CNN Headline News.

The best memory in my life is when I won tickets from a local radio station here in Central Florida to NASCAR’s Daytona 500. Once I got there I was told we would be part of the opening ceremonies and would be entering from the infield, going out onto the track and rolling down pit road. After seeing all the cars and drivers we enjoyed watching the entire race from the pits. This was one of the most wonderful days in my life. My video is made up from bits and pieces of the video that I shot that day.

There is one other thing I want to share with you. I am a C4-5 quadriplegic living my life from a power wheelchair.  I was injured in an accident 25 years ago falling from a bucket truck breaking my neck, paralyzing me from the neck down.  The last 25 years of my life in this wheelchair has taught me a lot.  Things I would not have learned when I was up and walking.  I have accepted my disability and have been enjoying my living life all over again.

One of my biggest hobbies is

photography, especially video. I have hundreds of hours of videotape and

snapshots of the adventures and the excitement that I have had in my life. I

have traveled thousands of miles throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.  I love to show the rest of the world that life is not over just because you've had a disability or difficulty in life. 90 percent of life is in your head, the other 10 percent is in your body, and if you set your mind to it “you can do it”.

I have documented most of my life in this wheelchair on edited DVD”s and I’d love to share some of them with you

Robin, and the rest of the world.

Thank you Robin for this great

opportunity to share my video with you.

    Your greatest Headline News fan,
