      Much More Than A Moment........

     

     

    Dale Earnhardt took quite a bit out of racing, but in a very quiet and classy way, he probably put at least as much back in.  He was a very kind man who helped a great number of folks without any public acknowledgement.  Along the way, he helped elevate the appreciation of racing as a sport that virtually anybody could understand and enjoy.  It is somewhat ironic that his fatal accident prompted numerous over-due improvements, which today benefit a lot of his friends, but also many others throughout the world in various other types of racing too. Therefore, the memorable moment for me genuinely will appear and re-appear to a degree approaching infinity.
