Connect the World: Ask Connectors of the Day |
Lost In education - University Funding Cutbacks
This is film 3 of 5.
Alun Hill was in Sicily this week, teaching journalism to students from Italy, Romania, Malta, Greece and Turkey.
One of their assignments was to make a film for CNN's iReports - the subject was left open to them.
In this film, his Itaiian delegation interviewed local students about the reduction in funding at the local University - and had the great idea of filming local small businesses about the affect the savings would have on them, as there would be less students spending on coffee, lunches and books.
