    Dealing with the housing market in today's economy

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Michael Andrews and his wife are looking to move from a townhouse to a single-family home. They began searching for homes in 2009, but are struggling with the declining value of their current property.


    They hope to move before their 3-year-old son begins kindergarten. omekongo will track his progress throughout 2010.

    I interviewed Michael Andrews. Mike is a married father of a 3-year old. He has struggled dealing with the declining value of his house. Even though the market is down, Mike is committed to remaining upbeat and takes small steps to improve the value of his house so that it will be at peak value when the market eventually turns around. He also has some great advice for other people who may be struggling in this economy. Thanks Mike for your honesty!
