Milbloggers Unite
There is a "silent" movement sweeping the military blog community. In solidarity with milblogger CJ Grisham, many large milblogs are going silent at least for today and some for as many as 3 days. CJ Grisham had issues with his local school district's decision to make the children wear school uniforms without any input or discussion with the parents of the students. Grisham demanded parental involvement and the school contacted his military command to complain about him with particular emphasis on the fact that Grisham is being voluntarily treated for PTSD. The whole issue has snowballed to the extent that Grisham sold his blog to CAT5 to allow his writers to continue blogging. Milbloggers around the world are making a stand today in protest of his treatment by his command and in support of free speech.
