My wife recently lost her income. It is temporary and we will be fine in a few months, but with all the bail outs going on for the Wall Street billionaires, I wanted to let you know that it is a one way street.

I just spent over two hours on the phone with Bank of America trying just to find out if we could get short term loan relief on our mortgage. After being passed off to every department in their byzantine phone tree, I finally ended up back at the initial prompt.

The fact is that unless you are a total deadbeat, there is no help available. For 'mainstreet' types who always try to meet their obligations and do the right thing, this bank, and probably every other bank simply doesn't care to offer any assistance of any kind.

It is sad that my great great grandchildren will be paying taxes to repay the debt incurred to provide billions of dollars in bonuses and stock options to Wall Street barracudas while the rest of the country is left to rot. They ship our jobs overseas, steal our tax dollars and leave us with no health care and a huge debt.

One thing is certain, Ralph Nadar was right. There is NO difference between the Democrats and the Republicants. They only care about their corporate overlords and there are no more statesmen. The Republicans started the fire sale to dismantle America and the Democrats are just continuing the Bush legacy.

Next election, we must vote them all out. If we are going to save America from being totally destroyed by these people, we must get all the current crop of legislators as well as Obama out the door and try to get some people in there who care about all of America, not just their own bank accounts and the fat cats who own the government.
