James Cameron's Avatar: Canceled in Berlin
Update: it appears that the problem with the movie's key distribution ocurred in other places than just the Sony Center in Berlin. bz-berlin.de reported that "most premieres failed". moz.de reported (google translate) the same issue was encountered in Eisenhüttenstadt.
Berlin: Sony Center (cinestar.de) movie goers attending the preview of James Cameron's new 3D movie: Avatar were severely disappointed tonight when, after sitting through 30 minutes of advertising, cinema staff announced that the scerening had been canceled due to the fact that they had received the "wrong key" for the movie.
The Sony Center cinema offered a full refund to the 600+ patrons and apologised for the mix up.
