    Paws met Claus at Lufkin Mall pet night

     

    Four-footed furry critters scampered to Lufkin Mall, Lufkin TX, for an annual holiday tradition - posing for pictures with Santa Claus.

    Dressed in colorful red and green bandannas and hats, pooches big and small lapped up the attention and barked their Christmas wish list to Santa with assistance from their owners.

    Kanon Jones brought Rebel and Roxie.  Kanon asked Santa for a John Deere tractor for Christmas.  Kanon loves the outdoors and really wants that tractor.

    Kilee’s visit with Santa at Lufkin Mall’s pet night was her first but not her last according to owners, Mason and Brady McDonald.

    Ella, a terrier mix, sports a fresh manicure and hair “do” for her annual visit and photo op with Santa. Ella’s owner is Shana Sneed.

    Dapper in a red vest, Bingo joins owners Edgar and Hailey Portillo for a holiday memory picture at pet night at Lufkin Mall.

    Brody, a year old Great Dane, sits regally for his picture with owner Collin Murphy and Santa.  “The elves will have to work hard to make a toy big enough for Brody,” said Santa.

    Cocoa, a two pound Chihuahua, brought out the poet in Santa. “Not a creature was stirring, not even a…..two pound Chihuahua.  Big or small, I love them all,” he said.  Owner Carolyn Louders cradles the petite puppy.
