FUN AND FINANCES MERGE IN NEW CHARGE LARGE BOARD GAME FROM HASBRO

Buy Big and Borrow Smart to Win Big

East Longmeadow, MA - Take a break from budget realities and escape to a world where buying, investing and using credit will help you win with Hasbro's new CHARGE LARGE board game.  In this game about money matters, players must balance their cash and credit to earn their way from a gold card to platinum to elite black card status - and be debt free - to win the game.

Invented by entrepreneurial friends, Joe Davis and Adam Kornblum from Long Island, NY, the game rewards a player's ability to know when and how much money to borrow, keep enough cash in their portfolio to pay off debt, while simultaneously collecting a stack of credit receipts in order to upgrade to the next level credit card.

"CHARGE LARGE is more than a just a game about hitting it rich and achieving status. It's a fun and entertaining way to strategically think about how cash and credit work together," said Davis. Kornblum added, "most people don't have millions to play with, but they do when playing CHARGE LARGE! This game can provide a safe platform for people to talk about the principles of using credit, saving and using cash wisely."

During a game, players travel around the board, buying buildings, investing in companies and managing their stock portfolios. The number of shares invested in each owned company determines the amount of cash that a player collects on payday. While staying current with credit cards and credit upgrades, CHARGE LARGE also rewards players who put money away for a rainy day with the piggy bank program. Players can also put away some cash while traveling around the game board and be rewarded for investments later in the game. As in real life, however, players must be on alert for Tax Day. The first player to own the elite black credit card, have at least $2.5 Billion in cash and zero debt wins!

CHARGE LARGE is available at mass merchandise retailers for an approximate retail price of $19.99 and can be enjoyed by two-to-four players, ages 12 and up.
