2009 was a rollercoaster year from the beginning. It started out great and then took some very crooked twists and turns that led me to a good place.
I attended the Grammy Awards, where Ladysmith Black Mambazo, a singing group my husband manages, won their third Grammy! Yay!
Traveled quite a bit and saw some very beautiful sights.
Spent some great times with family and friends.
Filmed a television commercial for CNN iReport. (which I, personally, have yet to see on TV)
Was viciously attacked by a crazy deer in my backyard.
Met some very colorful characters and gained some very interesting perspectives.
Attended some fun street and music festivals.
Watched Times Square undergo some pretty cool and disruptive changes.
Michael Jackson died.
My mother died 14 months after my father died.
Lost my job of 8 years the day after my mother's funeral.
Got really bummed and gained 15 pounds.
My grandson turned 3.
Got granny glasses.
Met a colorful sand painter.
Went on tour with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
Started taking pictures professionally.

Collaborated with fellow iReporter sjunat55 on the September 11th Tribute in Lights
Saw Mute Math perform live! Great show!
Traveled to visit friends.
Attended the New CNN's "Unveiling" in NYC and met a few fellow iReporters including mcitron, sjunat55 and maggiedo.
Traveled around the UK.
Attended the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC.
Started exercising and lost 20 pounds. Then, began hardcore training to get ready to participate in a Triathlon next year and to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for charity next year.
Ran into some protestors in Times Square.
Enjoyed the holiday lights in NYC.
Attended a John Lennon memorial party.
