How do Mommy Bloggers deal with Cyber Bullying
Some people who's day-to-day includes an online presence (and a digital footprint as noted here), are vulnerable by virtue of putting themselves "out there" to the masses. They realize it comes with the territory of working in this new media, but acknowledge how lines are being crossed and offer tips on how to deal with it.
Bloggers are one of these groups, and online & social media can fuel the flames of cyberbullying with information & access so easily (and quickly) at
our fingertips.
While some people who are not totally immersed in the world of blogging, online & social media might not understand why people chose to share
personal information or details of their lives online--- for the hundreds of thousands who look to these bloggers for news, tips, insights on parenting
and sometimes just a break in their day & knowing other parents go through the same things, they serve a real purpose in an increasingly virtual world.
Have you or someone you know ever been a victim of a cyberbully?
As reported on previously: my other CNN iReport - In the midst of a TRAGEDY, a mother TWEETS http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-370793 Jessica Gottlieb - www.jessicagottlieb.com <http://www.jessicagottlieb.com> & Heather Spohr- www.twitter.com/MamaSpohr <http://www.twitter.com/MamaSpohr> expand on their story and talk about Cyber Bullying.
