This iReport is part of an assignment:
Wintry weather near you |
The Sidewalks of NY in a Snow Storm
Come take a midnight walk with me as I brave the wind and snow to bring you the story from my New York City neighborhood...Enjoy a walk through my neighborhood and meet some of my neighbors.
It is true that New York City never sleeps and not even a snow storm and below freezing temperature keeps New Yorkers from going outside to run errands, dine, or walk their dogs even as the hour approaches midnight.
The real snow started to fall late, so that it wasn't until after 10pm that this iReporter decided to don her winter gear and head out the door to see what this storm had brought. The block where I live had been transformed to a winter wonderland, albeit with more cars than trees. Still, it's NYC not Vermont so we take what we can get.
The persons interviewed for this iReport are Jenny and Nora and Rafael who took a minute to talk to me at his Christmas tree stand. The happy soul shoveling snow off his car is Al and plowing snow in front of his apartment building is Henry, doorman and all around handy person to have around.
This iReport was produced under a great deal of fun, kinship and good times. No iReporter was abused or suffered any physical harm during the filming of this iReport.
