Sad news. Brittany Murphy, age 32, has apparently died of a cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles.  There is no definitive cause of death as of this time per ABC news.  She was found passed out in the shower by her husband, Simon Monjack, and all attempts to resuscitate her by the paramedics were unsuccessful.  She was pronounced dead at Cedars Sinai Hospital.

Brittany Murphy was a beautiful actress who first came to our attention as the "ugly duckling" in "Clueless" with Alicia Silverstone.  She went on to star in "8 Miles" with Eminem, and at one point was linked romantically with Ashton Kutcher.  In a recent tweet, he stated "2day the world has lost a little piece of sunshine".

Her weight had fluctuated dramatically trhough the last few years and perhaps an eating disorder could have caused her early death.  Brittany was never, in my opinion considered to be overweight.  However, in Hollywood's standards she may have felt the necessity to be a size 0 or less.  She was a beautiful and talented woman.

She will be missed.
