This iReport is part of an assignment:
Passions over health care reform |
Moving Our Work Overseas
Having just come from a meeting, it has been decided by all members of our board that in the event the healthcare reform (I assume that's what we are going to be calling it since the Dem's said so) becomes a reality, we are going to move all 700+ support positions off-shore to avoid a major spike in our taxes and cash outlay. This will allow us to keep ourselves profitable and not become a corporate welfare group for hundreds of workers.
It's a shame that it has come to this, but company is about to be taxed out of existance and for what, so that a few senators/congressmen can feel good about driving this country straight into the ground with all of their socialistic welfare garbage? I am sorry that poor people can't get health insurance or that a family can't find work. This isn't going to help! In fact, it is going to make things worse. For example, if the current regime had just let things be, 700+ people would still have jobs at our company, pay taxes and their mortgages and car payments, now, they are going to be unemployed, some will lose their homes and others will not find a similar paying job for years, thus causing some to seek divorces, possible suicide and more.
This government is about to destroy the fabric of this country and I for one will be watching to see what the true devastating effects will be so that I can report on them through the iReport here on CNN. Thanks to the Pelosi and Reid Gestapo, tens of thousands if not millions will have their entire lives ripped apart...good going, thanks for the memories and I wish you all well in the upcoming elections.
