A white Christmas for Chicago?
This morning Chicago woke up to a few inches of new snow. This is ahead storm that may bring two days of a wintery mix of icy rain and snow making holiday travel difficult for the region. It would be nice to just have the snow making a white Christmas for us but that does not look to be in the cards.
I got out and did my civic duty of shoveling our front walk and steps.
My wife and I will be driving Thursday from Chicago to Toledo to spend the holidays with her parents. I don't expect a lot of trouble from the major highways but her parents live outside Toledo in a rural area called Oak Harbor and the roads there could have a lot of icy conditions.
