It seems as though Santa is an avid surfer...who would have known? Part of Santa's Christmas Tradition is to head on down to Southern California. Santa likes to surf before the big night of handing out presents to children all over the world. I was able to catch up with Santa at Seal Beach. After an exhausting month of preparing for Christmas, hanging out at malls, and answering some tough questions, surfing is his answer. He waxed his board and went out to catch some waves. Santa paid close attention to the children who were eager to speak with him. He would surf a little and then come out and greet the children. They were in awe. His trusty elves were by his side.

Michael Pless was the person who let me know about Santa's form of relaxation. Michael owns a surfing school in Seal beach and has spotted Santa surfing on many occasions. Michael teaches surfing along with his son Michael Jr.They teach all levels, including special needs children, autistic children, and those with other challenges. He helps people to reach their potential with the use of love and good instruction... helping them to forget they have any  type of disability. It seems Santa and Michael have a great deal in common; bringing a lot of joy to the people that they meet.
My time spent with Santa, his elves and Mrs. Claus was awesome. I could have spent the whole day watching the children light up when they saw Surfing Santa. His love for children is so apparent.  Hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas!
