    Do you tattoo?

    Sleeved

I've been facinated by tattoos since I was about 4 and a saw a guy in a pizza parlor with a green arm.  It must have been in intricate sleeve at one point, but faded for various reasons.

My first tattoo is a band on my wrist.  Very few people realize it's a tattoo and not a bracelet.  i saw it in a dream about a year before I got it and thought it would be a good place to start.

My left sleeve is my fifth tattoo.  I worked for a major telecommunications company at the time, and they had no policy one way or another regarding tattoos.  I checked with my boss, and she checked with HR.  All they could come up with was as long as the design wasn't patently offensive, they had no problem.  If I took a different position with the company, I might have to keep it covered, but maybe not.  As the sleeve progressed, my boss and even the office manager enjoyed seeing it.  I've had several jobs since then, and all have been accepting.  I currently drive taxi while I work on online school.  Since the company owners son owns a tattoo shop, she doesn't care about tattoos, and no customer has complained.  Some even compliment it.

I'd hope all my jobs are as accepting of my one addiction as these have been.
