This iReport is part of an assignment:
Passions over health care reform |
Health Care, How Hypocrytical
Senate health care bill passes in the early morning on Christmas Eve, what else is new? Senate health care bill passes only because of special kickbacks given to certain senators for their vote, what else is new? Senate passes health care bill even as polls show a majority of Americans don't want it, what else is new?
The answer of coarse, is nothing. I'm not going to delve into the absurdity of this bill, or how the "deficit neutral" numbers have basically been pulled out of thin air. Instead I want to point out that there really is no change. The same old dirty politics that the left accused Bush of playing are still in use today, even more so if you ask me. The hypocrisy of this situation amazes me. While Obama speaks of "change" and "a turning from the old ways." Well that's a pile of horse dung, but in today's political world, what isn't?
