Swine Flu (H1N1) Saga Finally Ends! We finally Got It!
- rachel8, CNN iReport producer
What a difference a few months makes! As you may recall, My wife and I visited a H1N1 flu clinic on Oct 30, 2009, in the LA Area. We waited for 5 hours - and never got the shot! Now, today,Monday, DEC 29, 2009, The Riverside County Health Department here in Southern California has released H1N1 vaccine for all! So I was off to Moreno Valley High School in Moreno Valley, CA. for my shot!
I got there at about 2:30PM, and there were NO LINES!
The process was very simple: 1)Filled out the forms, (2) Interviewed a very friendly LVN by the name of Myra Tarrinsia who explained the different types of shots - and sprays - that are available. 3)Shot a small clip that shows how the tables were set up in the gym for patients...And I concluded the piece with myself getting the shot! Thanks again to the Riverside County Health Dept, The LVN Myra Tarrinsia, and the girl who gave me my shot - Ms Wolfie! They were professional, and friendly!
Now is the time to finnaly "Get The Shot" The shortages are over!
Please watch the video till the end!!
