    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     RyanJHartman is an American traveling in Asia for three months. He said there were thousands of people watching the fireworks display.

    On the island of Koh Pha Ngan (Ko Phangan), Thailand, A New Years Eve firework show goes wrong and ignites the rest of the fireworks, while some of the people flee and the really drunk ones don't seem to notice the danger around them.
