    Happy New Year from Second Life

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Eradicator is one of many iReporters in real and the virtual world who shared their New Year's celebrations.

    Numerous places in Second Life, a virtual world, celebrated ushering in 2010.

     

    One location recreated the historical New York City Times Square Ball drop. However, the prime attraction was developed by the creators of Second Life at Linden Labs. The servers for the program closely are connected to world times. As the 2010 approached areas around the world, residents were able to come together and experience how a virtual world can bring everyone from all cultures and timezones together.
