New Years in Naples: Panorama of Fire
The chaos that is living in Naples climaxes every year with the New Year's Eve fireworks celebration. Seemingly everyone lights off their own display. The result is 360 degrees of fire in the sky and the accompanying shuddering explosions. After some time, the air is filled with the smell and smoke of burned cordite. A post-midnight drive down the Tangenziale di Napoli is almost surreal. The film doesn't do it justice. You have to come see it for yourself.
